DB-3000 LED CONTROLLER
The DB-3000 Dual-Output Power/Dimmer module combines a DC-to-DC power inverter, an error loop filter/amplifier, a pulse-width modulation dimmer control circuit for power supply and control of medium and high density LED backlight strings. The DB-3000 maintains a closely regulated constant-current output by means of a firmware-driven current sampling circuit. This circuit automatically adjusts the pulse-width modulation duty cycle in response to changes in load, such as those due to temperature variation. In addition, the pulse-width modulation can be controlled via an external manual potentiometer for normal backlight dimming control. The automatic regulation and manual dimming work together to maintain a constant output.
